Sarah Peters Ph.D. CCC-SLP has had 40 years experience in working in assistive technology and hearing impaired infants and school aged patients. I have worked in a variety of settings, and each has hone my skills from working in public schools to private practice, to Universities, hospital and home settings. A graduate of UNC and a PhD. from George Mason University in Fairfax in 1998, I have worked as an adjunct professor at ODU and at two other universities in the Tidewater area. While retired, I am still involved with ASHA and SHAV, as well as supporting our ESL community locally. I have been encouraging students to enter this field through job commitments, SHAV and CDF since 1990.
